Erica was sixteen when she started working with our company. She was quickly recognized as a dedicated and intelligent employee, so it wasn’t long before she advanced to a position in warehouse construction. Due to her strong work ethic and dedication, more promotions followed, including a position managing our general warehouse.

Erica took advantage of Kaliroy’s commitment to employee education, and earned diplomas in food security and safety. Currently, she is receiving training in sustainable business practices. Her passion for learning and hard work has resulted in her most recent promotion to Food Safety Program Coordinator. She is currently continuing her studies to achieve her career goal of becoming a Plant Protection Engineer.

We believe that Erica will achieve her goal, and we will be there to offer her support and encouragement every step of the way.

Ten years ago, Mario and Judith started working as seasonal field workers for Kaliroy Fresh. Today, both enjoy full-time, year-round employment and live in permanent housing. Their story continues with the next generation, as their eldest daughter Esmeralda met her husband Florencio on our farm. Today, their daughter Kimberley is cared for at our Child Care Center. We are proud of our role in helping Mario and Judith provide schooling and a permanent home for their children, and look forward to seeing the accomplishments of their family’s third generation.

Jose Angel is yet another Kaliroy Fresh success story. He began his employment 16 years ago, working alongside his father in construction. His hard work and intelligence did not go unnoticed by supervisors, and he was soon promoted to Store Construction Materials. Thanks to Jose’s work ethic, and with the support of his supervisors, he moved forward to receive promotions to Field Supervisor.

Jose never stops asking questions and continues to learn from those around him. Today, he is doing an outstanding job as a General Production Supervisor. He continues to receive mentoring and support from Kaliroy managers as he works to achieve his goal of completing high school at our company school, and eventually an agronomy degree.
